A Legal Awareness Seminar was organised at Aladi Aruna College of Liberal Arts and Science on 12 January 2025 by the Alangulam Legal Circle Committee, in association with the Youth Red Cross (YRC) and the National Service Scheme (NSS).
The programme commenced with an inaugural address by the College Principal, Dr. S. S. Sujatha, who formally inaugurated the seminar.
Advocate Mr. C. Santhakumar delivered a special lecture on Cyber Crime, creating awareness among students about online safety and legal measures. Advocate Mrs. Rani Saraladevi and Advocate Mrs. Jayarani addressed the students on legal awareness and the POCSO Act, providing valuable insights and guidance. The seminar helped students understand legal rights, responsibilities, and the importance of law in daily life.
