The Teachers’ Day Celebration at Aladi Aruna College of Liberal Arts and Science on 5th September 2023 was a heartfelt tribute to educators, recognizing their invaluable contributions in shaping the lives of students.
The event commenced with the rendition of Tamizh Thai Vazhthu, setting a reverent tone for the occasion. Mathan Kumar (I Year B.Com) delivered the inaugural address, extending a warm welcome to the faculty while expressing profound gratitude for their dedication. He also provided insight into the significance of Teachers’ Day, emphasizing the impact of educators on students’ personal and academic growth.
A special address was delivered by Dr. V. Muthamilan, Principal, who elaborated on the pivotal role of teachers in shaping society. Drawing from his personal experiences with his mentor, he encouraged students to recognize and appreciate the unwavering dedication of their educators.
To honor their teachers, students organized a series of engaging activities and games, including musical chairs, balloon-blowing, mimicry, and singing, fostering an atmosphere of joy and camaraderie. The faculty actively participated, with students cheering them on with enthusiasm.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Evangeline Easther (I Year B.Sc Psychology), who expressed deep appreciation to the faculty for their participation and to the students for their efficient organization of the event. As a final gesture of gratitude, the Principal and teachers cut a cake, thoughtfully arranged by the students as a token of their admiration and respect.
