“The Youth Red Cross (YRC) unit was inaugurated at Aladi Aruna Liberal Arts and Science College, Alangulam, on 12.08.2025. The program began with a session by Dr. Blith Suthar, First Aid Lecturer and Disaster Management Trainer, Indian Red Cross Society. Dr. Enanala Periyar, Zonal Officer, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, delivered a special address on the roles and responsibilities of YRC, motivating students to actively contribute towards social service and humanitarian activities.”
