An awareness programme on “Women Safety and the Use of the Kavalan SOS App” was conducted at Aladi Aruna College of Liberal Arts and Science on 04 August 2026 by the Singapen Team.
The resource persons created awareness among students about various aspects of women’s safety, including personal safety, cyber safety, emergency response, and legal support available for women. A live demonstration was also conducted on the installation, registration, and effective use of the Kavalan SOS App, highlighting its role in seeking immediate assistance during emergency situations.
The programme provided students with valuable information on safety measures and encouraged them to make effective use of available safety resources.
